Happee Groomers is a mobile pet grooming business based in Tacoma, WA, founded in September 2023 by owner and groomer Natalie. What began as a one-person mobile service was built from a deep love for animals and a belief that grooming should be a calm, positive experience for every pet.
Serving both dogs and cats within 30 minutes of Tacoma, Happee Groomers offers personalized, mindful grooming in a setting designed to reduce stress and build trust. Clients are welcome to observe the grooming process, select shampoos that best suit their pet’s needs, and enjoy thoughtful details like loyalty rewards and gentle Dremel nail filing with every trim. Every choice is made with the pet’s comfort and well-being in mind.
At Happee Groomers, pets are treated like family. The team approaches each groom with patience, compassion, and respect for every animal’s individual needs. Continued learning and growth are an important part of the business, ensuring that pets receive safe, knowledgeable, and loving care.

All appointments will need to have proof of vaccines. Even though the van is treated for fleas, I strongly recommend a flea preventative. Additionally, I require a parking space within 60 ft of an electric outlet. The van fits in front of most households. I do not enter the home unless necessary. I request dogs be placed on a leash prior to leaving the home. The van is equipped with slip-leads if you are worried about losing your leash. All cats must be placed in a carrier prior to leaving the home.
Yes. All pets entering the van will need to have proof of current vaccines.
Dogs- Rabies is required.
Cats- Rabies is required.
Puppies and kittens must be fully vaccinated and 16 weeks of age.
Your furry friend's grooming experience is like a mystery box - the time it takes depends on their mood! Expect a grooming session lasting between 1 to 2 1/2 hours per pet, factoring in your pet's size and current fur situation.
Grooming accidents can sometimes happen. We strive to do our very best to make sure your pet is happy and healthy prior to, during, and after a groom.
If your pet is cut during a groom, you will be notified. Happee Groomers maintains insurance to ensure your pet can receive medical attention if required.
No, we will not be offering grooming services outside of cats and dogs.
Happee Groomers understands the grooming process can be intimidating to many pets. We won’t turn a pet away unless it poses a safety concern to the groomer or pet. We will have a variety of muzzle sizes for your pet, and we will have an outstanding amount of patience.
In my experience, patience can go a long way with aggressive pets. Sometimes, it’s all about figuring out what’s triggering them. It could be the clippers' sound or the blow dryer's forced air. I am dedicated to making your pet's groom a good experience. With your patience and ours, we’ll figure out what may work best for your pet's groom.
